Bio

I am a facilitator of men's work. I have been doing this work for over 10 years, and before I started, I was the man sitting in the circle not knowing what to say. My training comes from three places that don’t always communicate with each other: Menswork, somatic/relational work, and the Toltec tradition, which I studied for years with Víctor Sánchez. From this emerged a way of working that doesn’t go through the head. A circle is a place where a man speaks aloud something he has been silent about for years and discovers that others recognize it. That moves things that no conversation can. I have accompanied over eight hundred men in Mexico, Spain, Latin America, and several countries in Europe, and I have trained more than fifty facilitators in the Spanish-speaking world. I lead Sacred Sons for Latin America. With Laura, my partner for eleven years, I also support couples, because what a man works on in a circle will sooner or later be tested at home. I am a father of three. I live in León, Guanajuato. Almost everything I know about this I learned during the worst moment of my life, when I had to admit that I couldn’t do it alone. I continue to do my own work and still sit in circles where I am not the one facilitating.
