Generosity makes the extraordinary possible.
Free admission. Contributions are voluntary.
Generosity makes FOC possible. Gratitude keeps it going.
FOC is rooted in trust: trust in people and in our ability to create something extraordinary when we share who we are and what we have.
It is made possible by hundreds of people and organizations who give their time, knowledge, resources, energy, commitment and care.
Gratitude is about more than recognizing what we have received. It is also about realizing that we have something to give. By sharing it, we can transform our own lives and the lives of others.
What we receive can become something we make possible for others.

You decide if, when, and how much to give.
FOC is a festival open to everyone. You can save your spot without making any payment.
You can contribute before, during or after the festival, whenever it feels right and in whatever amount feels right to you.
If FOC gives you something, pay it forward.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to contribute to attend?
No. You don’t need to make any payment to save your spot. Your registration and your experience at the festival are never conditional on making a contribution. Giving is entirely voluntary. Some people may not be able to contribute financially, but give their time and energy as volunteers. Others may be able to contribute enough to help cover the cost for several attendees, making the festival more accessible to people who cannot contribute financially.
Why isn’t there an admission fee?
Because many people and organizations have contributed their time, knowledge, resources and support to make a festival open to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. FOC is a social and economic experiment in generosity and gratitude, built collectively by everyone who takes part. Its very existence shows that another kind of economy is possible, and that money is not the only way to measure the value of something.
How much should I contribute?
You are free to choose how much to contribute, including choosing not to give money. When you complete your registration, you will have the option to make a voluntary contribution. You’ll see a few suggested amounts, but you can choose one or enter your own.
How is the suggested contribution calculated?
We divide the festival’s actual production costs by the expected number of attendees. This gives you a sense of the collective effort that makes FOC possible. It’s a suggested contribution, not a required fee.
Can I contribute after the festival?
Yes. You can contribute before, during or after the festival. Once the festival is over, we will email you a link in case you would like to make a contribution.
Where does my contribution go?
FOC Mexico 2027 is made possible by the generosity of hundreds of people who share their time, knowledge, resources and energy. Your contribution will help others experience FOC too, and help the project continue.
Why do I need to confirm my attendance again?
Because no payment is required to save your spot, we will ask you to confirm your attendance in mid-December and download your ticket with its QR code. This allows us to offer available spots to others if someone is no longer able to attend. We will email you with instructions.
Can I register someone else?
Each person needs to complete their own registration. The only exception is for children under 16 who are coming with you. You can register them using your email address and their name. Be sure to save your own spot, too.
What if I register but can no longer attend?
Please let us know so we can make your spot available to someone else. You can cancel your registration by emailing [email protected].
Extraordinary things happen when we make them happen together.
