Open Arms. 10 years against the tide.
FOCxOpenArms
We do not celebrate. We vindicate.
Open Arms was born in 2015, as an urgent response to the human drama in the Mediterranean.
Ten years later, it still exists because injustice persists: the sea continues to be a mass grave, borders continue to dehumanize, and dignity continues to be held back by invisible walls.
On September 29th, Open Arms and FOC organized a fundraising event to thank the thousands of people, organizations and referents from the world of culture and civil society who have not looked the other way, as an act of collective resistance.
