Oscar García Pañella

Biography

Oscar García Pañella holds a PhD in Virtual Reality applied to Medicine from La Salle-URL (2004) and a PhD from the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA, USA, 2009). He is the academic director of the first university center in video and applied games (Serious Games) in Barcelona, ENTI (School of New Interactive Technologies) of the UB (since 2013) as well as consultant and partner at the Gamification and Transmedia Narrative company Cookie Box (founded in 2008). He directs the online master’s degree in Gamification at IEBS business school.
